 Roof Pond

The concept of a roof heater combines traditional roofing functions with methods of natural heating and cooling. The key elements of the concept are:

1-Water use for storage and heating.

2-A combination of hot water and fixed spaces.

3-Exposure to a pool of water in the heat of the hot sun.

4-Exposure to a pool of water in the night sky to cool

This paper systematically reviews the books for heating and cooling buildings using roof pools. The main objectives were to gain a detailed understanding of the design of various roof pools and their function, compare the performance of various roof pools, evaluate the performance of various roof pools related to other design strategies, assess the effects of climate change and design variations in roof pools, and identify information and details. In total, 19 pool cooling systems and 4 pool heating systems were demonstrated. These revisions suggest that, in some cases, roof pools can provide warm year-round comfort while minimizing the need for effective heating and cooling systems. Therefore, they can be used in efforts towards the goal of neutral carbon construction. Roof pools with waterproof bags, shaded roof pools, air-conditioned roof pools, and roofing pools with matching insulation have been shown to work better in relation to other types of roof pools. Comparisons of performance related to other techniques performed have shown that, in many cases, roof pool cooling systems work equally well in maintaining a warm indoor comfort. Climatic conditions, water depth, roof of the house, and thickness of the protective panel are the main factors affecting the performance of roof pools. Many weak points in the text are visible. Future research should, among other things, provide detailed information on the performance of all types of roof pools, further evaluate the suitability of roof pools in relation to alternative methods, evaluate the effectiveness of roof pools in combination with other methods, assess the life cycle cost of roof pools, and provide more information in their real world system.
